Dr.Yuan Tian

Dr. Tian received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Lanzhou University and Ph. D. from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. And then, he worked as a postdoctoral fellowship with Professor E J Corey at Harvard University. Dr. Tian has been working in the medicinal chemistry and process chemistry departments in a variety of top pharmaceutical companies, including Millennium (Takeda), Schering Plough, MSD, Lilly and WuXi AppTec. He has accumulated over 18 years of experience in drug research and development and scientific research management. He has led and participated in numerous new drug research and development projects targeting oncology, autoimmune, central nervous system and metabolic diseases. Currently, Dr. Tian is responsible for the chemistry research and development of Keythera Biopharmaceuticals, including small molecule compound library, high throughout screening platform, medicinal chemistry, process chemistry, formulation development and drug production.
