Dr.Yongqi Deng

Dr. Deng received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Peking University in China, and PhD from Michigan State University in USA. After he finished his postdoctoral fellowship at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Deng has been delving his entire career into new drug research and development. He had worked at top pharmaceutical companies, Schering-Plough and Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD) for over 20 years, and accumulated rich research and management experience. Dr. Deng has published 30 academic papers in international journals, which have been cited more than 2000 times. He also has 32 authorized patents. In 2018, Dr. Deng returned to China and founded Keythera Biopharmaceutical in Shenzhen, and relocated to Suzhou in May 2020.
